Embryonic selected to appear in the "Celebrating Bergen County's Diversity" gallery show at the Art Center for Northern New Jersey

The Art Center of Northern New Jersey is a fine arts school and gallery that offers classes in all art media for adults and children.

It is the only facility in the Bergen County area with a stone sculpture studio with pneumatic equipment, a fully-equipped printmaking studio with two Charles Brand presses, darkroom and high-intensity light table for photo-based platemaking, painting and photo studios. Classes are taught by skilled professionals in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, clay, and drawing. Life drawing sessions are monitored and taught by instructors. A full program is offered year-round.

The Art Center serves as a meeting ground for practicing artists through its sponsorship of four affiliate groups: painters, sculptors, watercolorists, and printmakers. It also hosts other exhibiting groups through its gallery program.

Artists Wanted is a collaborative project between several New York City artists and creative organizations working to build new lasting opportunities for emerging talent. We have experienced first hand the difficulties in breaking into the professional art world and it is our mission to make this process more welcoming, dynamic and open-ended. Upstream People Gallery selects two works for the "9th Annual Abstraction International Online Juried Art Exhibition." The exhibition will open worldwide on October 1, 2007 at www.upstreampeoplegallery.com and will be on view through September 30, 2008. "Tiger Butter" and "Elements" were selected out of approximately 350 entries from various parts of the world.

The Upstream People Gallery was created in the late '90's in order to serve artists throughout the world by hosting international juried online art exhibitions. Artists from almost every country have exhibited with the gallery over seven years. Upstream People Gallery is organized and run by a professional team of artists. Guest jurors and critics are important contributors to the aesthetic and critical dimension of the selected works in the gallery.
